Just got my new Macbook Pro a week or two ago and the wife and I were playing around with Photobooth, a program where you can take pictures of yourself using the built in camera at the top of the laptop. There are some pretty funky settings on there that allow you to alter/distort the camera view – think crazy-mirror-funhouse on steroids. Ever seen those birthday cards with the picture of a cute little kitty with big bulging eyes?
Anyways, I think iSafe is pretty cool. We use it at work for video conferencing – even though we’re like 20ft from each other – it’s just cooler that way. Using iChat, you can invite someone else who has a camera to a video chat. They can see you, you can see them, you can make it full screen, and you can talk back and forth using the built in microphone. Cool huh?
